IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION:
The use of Genefill Contour® in the facial area is contraindicated. The use of Genefill Contour® for breast and genital augmentation is contraindicated as well.
Genefill Contour® must not be used in patients who have a tendency to hypertrophic and keloid scarring, have an intolerance towards gram-positive bacteria, are prone to active inflammatory or infectious processes, are suffering from acute or chronic skin diseases, are undergoing anti-coagulant therapy, have a known allergy against hyaluronic acid, or are suffering from autoimmune diseases. No clinical data is available on the application of Genefill Contour® during pregnancy or lactation or to adolescents under 18 years of age. Patients with multiple allergies should be excluded from treatment.
Genefill Contour® is intended for subcutaneous and supraperiostal injection only and may not be injected into blood vessels as this could result in an occlusion of the vessels and embolism. The use of Genefill Contour® is only permitted by trained medical personnel.
Genefill Contour® is supplied in a sterile ready-to-use syringe, it is intended only for single use, and it may not be mixed with other injection agents.
The most common side effects are itching, reddening, sensitivities, and swelling at the puncture site, subcutaneous bleeding or haematoma as well as hardness or hyper-sensitivity reactions. In most cases these reactions occur immediately or up to one week after the injection and usually disappear spontaneously within one or two weeks.
