Genefill DX is a high concentration biphasic filler for the face that can provide volume and definition to a better face contouring. The key ingredient is the Dextranomer, responsible for inducing collagen and elastin production as well as helping with the regeneration of the tissue.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION:
Genefill DX® is indicated for volume replacement/tissue augmentation, cheek area, marionette lines, deep wrinkles, nasolabial folds, and contour defects in the facial area. The result that can be achieved is dependent on skin type and the changes requested.
Genefill DX® must not be used in patients who have a tendency to hypertrophic and keloid scarring, have an intolerance towards gram-positive bacteria, are prone to active inflammatory or infectious processes, are suffering from acute or chronic skin diseases, are undergoing anti-coagulant therapy, have a known allergy against hyaluronic acid, or are suffering from autoimmune diseases. No clinical data is available on the application of Genefill DX® during pregnancy or lactation or to adolescents under 18 years of age. Patients with multiple allergies should be excluded from treatment.
Genefill DX® is intended for intracutaneous injection only and may not be injected into blood vessels as this could result in an occlusion of the vessels and embolism. The use of Genefill DX® is only permitted by trained medical personnel.
Genefill DX® is supplied in a sterile ready-to-use syringe, it is intended only for single use, and it may not be mixed with other injection agents.
The most common side effects are temporary erythema, slight swelling, pain, itching, discolouration, and hardening. Typically, these disappear spontaneously within 2 to 5 days following the injection.
